IF the Dalmatian Club of America does not take earnest and sincere scientific steps to understand this gene….they / we have just missed a major potential opportunity to help reduce, alleviate or possibly remove the heart break, expense, pain of corrective efforts to keep some Dalmatians living with this canine abnormality.

Guardian Dalmatians has obtained the only homozygous dominant U Dalmatian on the face of the earth! Stocklore Dalmatians and their 35 years of selective breeding effort saw Dr. Robert Schaible and his wife Catherine whelp this puppy girl in January ’08. Our UU is call named “YOU WHO”.

I am very proud of the educational process I went through to help establish The LUA Dalmatian web site. My earnest effort and sincere objectivity caused Karen and I to obtain this phenomenal genetic opportunity – that of our YOU WHO.

GUARDIAN Dalmatians will harvest this gene for normal canine urinary uric acid into our gene pools of AKC Dalmatians. We expect health benefits, in spite of the fact we have never had a stone blocked GUARDIAN Dalmatian. This gene must be embraced by the Dalmatian Club of America as the Dalmatian Parent Club for the American Kennel Club. AKC Registration must be offered to to satisfy the DCA expectations and requirements of the Clinical Trial.

Our choice to utilize this UU puppy obviously comes at an expense and commitment. However, sincere excitement. Potentially this could cause removal of an AKC Dalmatian from our limited, hobby kennel. It will be worth the effort. Come join us.
