It seems that everyone wants to know the science of why and how this works and it certainly would be nice to scientifically prove that it does and will continue to do so.  But breeding dogs, or anything else for that matter, is not an exact science, or a cheap one either.  It is enough for me that the LUA gene continues to be passed on to the next generation. 
 
I think AKC registration is the next logical step in this project.
