I am voting “yes” on the DCA ballot measure to allow discussion on the possibility of AKC registration of the descendants of the Dal-Pointer cross.

Regardless of my position on the actual issue of AKC registration of these Dalmatians, I do not fully understand why a DCA member would vote to restrict discussion of this topic. Only by continued intelligent and non-threatening discussion can the pro’s and con’s of the subject be brought to light and evaluated by the Dalmatian community.

I urge a “yes” vote by an overwhelming majority of the DCA members.
