For many years I have been extremely involved with dalmatian health specifically epilepsy. However my first dalmatian  Max suffered from stone forming  and was on allopurinal all of his life.

I have raised only two litters but in the first one 3 out of 10 had stone forming problems one so bad he had to have "the operation.

Last year a liver LUA pup name Will ( Encantados Where There's a Will) entered our lives, he is now now a very handsome teenager of 15 months. His favorite thing is food of course and running in the mountains. He has excellent recall and wonderful social skills. He is so graceful and full of fun. Hopefully  ( if all the health checks are  good he will be making pretty puppies next year.

I fully support the DCA ballot  to once again reopen the discussion with DCA and AKC regarding  registration of the LUA dals .
 
My vote will be a resounding YES !!!
