I strongly believe that communication, ALL LINES OF COMMUNICATION, should remain open for free and detailed conversation. I do not understand the fear that so many express in cutting off this debate. I am not a genecist nor do I wish to be a genecist but what I do understand somewhat ids the gene pool. When you restrict a gene poll you compound the "problems", the introduction of the Pointer was an attempt to expand the gene pool and hopefuly thereby minimizing HUA factors.
Isn't this the goal of an ethical breeder to produce the soundest, healthiest puppy? So why limit discussion?
The distinctive spotted pattern of the Dalmatian makes it unique, but there is more to the Dalmatian then just its spots. JMHO.
